Class overview

This 6-day bioinformatics and computational modeling bootcamp is designed to equip biology and life science students with essential skills in data analysis and mathematical modeling. The first three days focus on bioinformatics, covering software carpentry, DNA sequencing data analysis, and RNA sequencing experiments. The latter three days delve into mathematical and computational modeling, exploring phenomenological models, compartmental models, and agent-based models. This intensive course aims to bridge the gap between biological concepts and computational techniques, providing students with practical skills applicable to modern research in life sciences.
