Biography

This will be my 19th year teaching fifth grade. I received my Bachelors in Education and Masters in Special Education from the University of Connecticut. My subject area major was Science. I am very excited for the opportunity to be teaching science, reading, and social literacy to 5th graders again this year.

When not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have a daughter, Anna, who is fourteen. Our son, Henry, is eleven and a half. Our family has lived in Ashford for 15 years and we love our community and school. We also have a dog, Greta, who is almost 4. We enjoy many outdoor activities as a family including kayaking, camping, hiking, skiing, and more!
