Our Ashby House Free Store is closed to the public until August 2nd. We are not accepting donations at this time.

The Free Store

Ashby House operates The Free Store that is open Monday thru Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm. Everyone is welcome to come to the store and shop.

Last year Ashby House gave away approximately 120,00 clothing items and 1,800 furniture and appliances to the folks in the community who need a hand up. For 2019, over 900 people have benefited from the Free Store.

Ashby House accepts donations of any items that are in good repair, that a family starting over would need, such as usable clothes, books, shoes and household goods.

The Free Store is located on the North-East corner of 9th and Walnut (behind the Ashby House Family Shelter). Access is best through the parking lot accessible from 9th Street.
