green screen & Tripod Checkout

What Is It?

A green screen is a green backdrop that allows students to film green screen videos or take green screen images, then they can insert backgrounds or foregrounds. The tripod is used to hold a phone or iPad to film. Students can then use an app, such as Green Screen by Do Ink, to put the subjects in front of any scene.

What Is It Used for in the classroom?

Students can create green screen videos or take green screen photos. This is great for history, so students can make a video in front of a historical location, or English, so students can "be" in the setting of the novel.

How does the checkout work?

We have green screen backdrops (with poles to hold them up or that can be affixed to a wall) and tripods. You can check them out for a day, a week, or a few weeks so your students can use them for a video project.
