9th-12th grade Applicants

Students applying for grades 9-12 will complete a THREE-part admissions process: an online application, a paper packet, and academic documentation. All parts are required before an application is considered complete.

As part of the application, please submit a copy of your student’s transcript showing courses completed through the end of the 2025-2026 school year. For 9th grade applicants, the end-of-year 7th grade report card is sufficient.

Please also submit documentation from your student’s current school that shows current classes and grades. This can be:

an end of first quarter (Q1) report card
an end of first trimester (T1) report card
a mid-semester (S1) progress report

Please get these directly from your student's school and submit them with your application. Unofficial copies are fine. If you submit your application before these are available from your school, it is your responsibility to follow up with our Admissions team to submit them once they are available.

If your student's school is on a semester schedule, the first semester report card must also be submitted by February 5, 2027. Enrollment offers for these students are contingent on its receipt.

This helps us build an accurate course plan for your student ahead of enrollment.

Part 1 - Online You will be prompted to Create Account or Sign In (if existing ASD family). You may save your application at any time and return at a later time to complete it. Once completed, you will receive an email confirming that the online portion of the application is complete. Part 2 - Paper Packet We will not be giving edit access to this file. It must be handwritten. Methods for submission of Part 2: Mail application to: Academy for Science and Design, Attn: Admissions, 9 Townsend West, Nashua, NH 03063. Applications may be dropped off at the ASD building main lobby Monday - Friday, 8am - 3pm. There is an applications drop box outside the building, in front of the main entrance, labeled ADMISSIONS APPLICATIONS ONLY. Available any time. No faxed or emailed copies are permitted. Part 3 - Academic Documentation Please provide the following as part of your student’s application: A copy of your student’s transcript showing courses completed through the end of the 2025-2026 school year. For 9th grade applicants, the end-of-year 7th grade report card is sufficient. All high school applicants will be required to follow up with the Admissions team to provide updated transcripts at the end of the 2026-2027 school year. Note below the boxes: If transcripts are submitted for coursework completed outside of a traditional classroom setting (for example, an online course or homeschool), a placement test in that subject may be required after enrollment to confirm accurate class placement.

ASD requires five (5) years of high school-level math in order to graduate. Applicants must have successfully completed (with a grade of 80% or higher) the minimum course listed below, based on the grade level they are applying to, prior to June 30, 2027, in order to graduate on their current timeline.

All applicants are required to review our Program of Studies for a full understanding of ASD's rigorous graduation requirements.
We will review all submitted coursework to confirm the applicant is on track to graduate within a suitable timeframe.
