Geometry
Welcome to Geometry!
Geometry is a very unique domain of mathematics. Unlike your other math classes that focus on arithmetic and solving and graphing equations, Geometry focuses on understanding the properties of geometric figures. In this course, we will first begin with establishing precise mathematical language and principles, called axioms and postulates. Then, we will have a unit on reasoning and logic, before finally diving into constructing geometric proofs for the propositions as outlined in Euclid’s Elements. Along the way, students will apply their knowledge of the geometric properties and their Algebra skills, to solve problems.
Here is the course syllabus.
