Updates / Announcements
Aug. 28th- Welcome back to school! In third grade music your student will be singing, playing recorder, listening to music, learning about instruments, and so much more. I will be posting monthly updates in the sections below so that way you can see what we are learning about. I look forward to making music with your student this year!
Practice
Although we will not have homework in 3rd grade music class, we highly recommend that your student practice your recorder starting in January. When your student receives their recorder, I recommend that they practice for at least 20 minutes a week. More information about recorder will be released after Thanksgiving Break. If they would like some extra practice on certain topics that we will cover during the year you can look at the Resource page on my website.
