Keeping Children Safe Online
21st May 2025
Recently, some Parents / Carers have expressed concerns around keeping their children safe while online. In response to this, we have organised for the P3-7 children to take part in an "Online Safety" workshop with PC Roger next week in school, on Wednesday 28th May 2025. We are also looking to organise a similar session on Online Safety for Parents / Carers. Attached is a document called "Keeping Children Safe Online - A Guide for Parents, Carers and Guardians", published by the Cyber & Fraud Hub (https://cyberfraudhub.org/resources), to offer support in this area. It focuses on different online platforms that your children may be accessing on the internet and some of the ways that you can keep them safe when using them, including how to ensure their privacy is maintained and which platforms are appropriate for different age groups.
We hope you find this helpful and please look out for further information we will share, related to online safety, which is available for supporting our children to keep themselves safe online.

NEW CLASSES FOR NEXT SESSION
30th May 2023
At this time of year we are looking to organise our classes for next session. We will continue with 6 classes which is what we currently have, however, the make up of those classes may need to be different and some classes will require to be composite classes where they weren't composite before. Over the next few weeks I will be working with staff to decide the classes we will have and how the children should be split. Here is the link to a leaflet which may help to explain how we organise composite classes. If you have any questions about your child's class, which will be shared later this term, please do not hesitate to contact me via the school office to discuss this further.
Kind regards,
Mrs Pearson
