Now that have have the dance steps outlined, what rules do we notice in the dance?
How might knowing the rules in the dance help us to perform the dance?

PRACTICE AND PERFORM
Let's work together in a group to practice and perform the Irish Washerwoman Jig.
1. Please move the desks to the perimeter of the room.
2. Boys should line up on one side and girls on the other.
3. We will practice each section by itself first. Then, we'll practice two sections at a time.
4. Finally, we'll put together all of the sections and perform the dance.
