For this project, we use a PIXLR X app. Pixlr is an image editing tool that helps users edit unlimited images and share them over different platforms. Pixlr comes in two versions, Pixlr X and Pixlr E, and both versions are AI-powered online photo editors, offering a professional look to the edited pictures
Project objective: Learn about drawing tools and their properties. Get familiar with the layers and learn how to manipulate them.

Find a good-quality photo of a famous painting. I recommend picking the one that is not too simple (e.g., the "Black Square" will not work), but doesn't have too many details either. Save it to your computer.
Place it in a new image on a separate layer.
Lock the layer and make the layer 50% transparent.
Create a new empty layer to paint on.
Open the BRUSH tool. Pick the needed color using Color Picker.
Choose the needed size and softness for the brush and start painting on the new layer.
Choose a new color, etc.
Remember: you don't have to copy ALL the details, but the recreated image needs to be recognizable.
Vincent Van Gogh, "Starry Night over the Rhone"
Claude Monet.
Grant Wood, "American Gothic"
Leonardo Da Vinci, "Mona Lisa"
Johanness Vermeer, "Girl with a Pearl Earring"
Effort and creativity in finding an image to work on. The points will be added if the artwork is not on the list of suggested art.
Using all tools and their properties appropriately: brush blur, dodge, burn, and color picker.
Image rendering with a high level of detail.
Recreate the original art in a recognizable way.
An effort-oriented and hardworking attitude.
