Abstract acrylic on canvas painting. It has a light lilac purple base color accentuated with white and gold. Varied circular strokes of white define the top of the painting with a downward corkscrew motion of white on the right side as you face the painting. There are a few wisps of white throughout the painting. Gold circulates in an undefined pattern primarily in the lower half of the painting. You see a single stroke of cobalt blue on the lower left of the painting. Black peeks out at you on the right lower 2/3rds of the painting. A few small red splotches in the lower right 1/3rd of the painting surprise you.

Wiley Johnson is a 37 yo. self-taught artist from Raleigh who has autism spectrum disorder. His acrylic on canvas, abstract style paintings have been exhibited in a number of galleries and other venues in NC as well as VA, PA, and NYC. Giant reproductions of his paintings have also been installed by Artlifting in Durham, Wake Forest, and Sutton Square in Raleigh.
