No preparation is needed! This is all for fun and discovery; we won’t provide a word list ahead of time.
No. If your student is competing in the bee, they will be actively spelling the entire hour (across three different rounds: written, verbal, team challenge). We’re here to celebrate spelling—not penalize problem solvers.
Not necessarily! Nevertheless: if you’re signing your kiddos up for this event, we expect them to have a sincere enthusiasm for spelling. We want them to want to be there!
