Virtual Nature
In Virtual Nature, I want to argue the relationship between nature and technology. I used digital drawing and nature images together as a college together to convey my idea.

I use digital drawing to relate with technology since it’s also a product of the modern technology. I used nature image to reveal the original beauty of the nature. The real flowers or woods seem quite complexing with the neon drawing. I always want to argue something related to the society. I got the inspiration since once I accidentally put mu virtual gear together with the flowers I bought. I think nature and technology are hard to co-exist in one world. As we get more attracted to the virtual world, we would easily neglect the nature around us. And as we look at the virtual gardens or even rest in the virtual environment, does it mean that we forget the real world as well? If it’s true, along with the thrive of the virtual world is the destruction of the real nature since no more space is willing to be given to the real plants or to flowers. In my work, I depicted a thriving virtual world which seems brilliant but has a rotten real world covered by it.
I hope through my work, viewers could get more attention to the world and not only indulge in the virtual world. And I hope that there could be a method for the real nature and technology to friendly stay together.
