As part of AC Academy, a convergence art education program for emerging artists, Art Collider Lab at Korea National University of Arts conducted the convergence art planning workshop titled "Artist Writing: From Language to Project."
This workshop aimed to provide participants with practical insights into understanding the complex and multifaceted discourse prevalent in contemporary society and it encouraged participants to structure their ideas into language.
In the first session, we explored "Discourse Structure and the Artist's Worldview" within the context of contemporary society's discourse on art and technology. This session encouraged participants to contemplate their position within the discourse structure of art and technology in modern society. In the second session, "Art through Manifesto," participants drafted statements (manifestos) declaring their artistic attitudes and perspectives. Finally, in the third session, "Writing with Machines," we delved into the exploration of artificial intelligence (A.I.) as a new collaborative partner, a topic that has gained significant attention recently.
Through these sessions, participants gained valuable insights into the contemporary discourse surrounding art and technology and had the opportunity to structure their ideas into language.
