Today, art, technology, and society intersect and are connected with each other, and the times demand the expansion of these intersections into new areas. However, challenging new areas is always vague and difficult. Accordingly, Art Collider Lab pays attention to the game and its methodology. Game is a genre where “story, rule, interaction, character, and worldview” converge. We wanted to support the first step of artists who want to expand their work as if designing a fun game.
In this <Art · Game · Collider> course, which serves as a foundation for art major students aiming to expand into new areas, especially based on their majors, we conducted experiments in transferring the movements of traditional performance art into virtual spaces.

Axis-to-one's Interview
Talchum is a traditional and unconventional form of movement. Those who inherit and practice Talchum in contemporary times go through a process of observing and learning this unique movement in real life. Therefore, the transmission of Talchum exists as extraordinary memories within the realm of everyday life. In the current everyday spaces, traditional theatrical costumes and mask images are remembered as keywords and stored as complex remnants of memory. When these memories are placed within an engine, a juxtaposition and disparity with reality occur. How do the bodily memories passed down within traditional dramatic performing arts intersect with the dissonance of virtual spaces? What sensations do we experience in that space in between? We aim to explore how contemporary bodily memories could be perceived amidst the overlapping memories of other bodies and virtual bodies.
Tinkers's Interview
Talchum embodies a sense of freedom and unconventionality, not bound by any specific form or framework. Many proclaim that everyone has been crying out for communication and creating meeting places in the digital space. However, these proclamations often seem empty. In a time when genuine communication and connections are more important than ever, perhaps virtual spaces are the perfect venues for the spirit of Talchum to flourish.
'Hustle' incorporates a structure where the audience is connected to virtual performances through the web. It aims to immerse the audience not only in real-time virtual performances but also in the entire experience, considering the 'path' for the audience.
