“<app.ær> is like a walk in between apparatus, apparition, and appearance. When decided to live in a device, we can decide our appearance. It is a way more serious and critical decision than you think. Take a close look at what our doppelgangers would look like, and what they can and cannot do. The appearance instantly specifies our function in the relevant reality or constitutes most of the reality. Now, look at the screen again. Where can you draw a line to define yourself? How many can exist? Is my persona really “my” persona?"
