Team SINSIGAJI(Yunji Kwon, Yunjeong Kim, Saetbyeol Kim) focuses on the intersecting points of art, science and technology by drawing social lines, like their team’s name which refers to the points where new things meet and cross. SINSIGAJI is composed of three students studying media and seeks to address stories about society and convey discourse values based on video production techniques such as motion graphic, 3D animation, and VR. They are interested in investigating Korean society under the themes of housing issues and intergenerational conflicts.

The age of 7 million elderly people. With the aged 65 or older in Korea taking up 14.3 percent of the total population, we are on the verge of entering a super-aged society.
However, in this rapidly changing era, the conflicts between generations still show no signs of improvement. SINSIGAJI conceived a project to create connections within a society going through generational conflicts. While it is the age where numerous desires are freely opened up, the elderly are continuously defined with their desires eliminated in society. In reality, where the entertainment culture for the elderly is forced to go into the shadows, SINSIGAJI works on the theme “the elderly and dance” and features a VR video and motion dealing with the cabaret culture, the body of the elderly and stereotypes of the public.
