Taerim Yoon (School of Music) and Seonyu Park (School of Music) created a machine that draws Morse code with very simple movements in Protoroom’s workshop <Creatures with Unfamiliar Movement>. In this work, they attempt to compose a primitive and intuitive score composition by adding a drawing machine, an idea from the music workshop in their major course. This work portrays the music, which could be seen as temporal art, by simultaneously converting the music to visually cumulative process and conveys the message in the Morse code drawing (score) being drawn in circular and vertical motions.
