Magnetic and Non-Magnetic Materials

In this science lesson, students learn about magnets and explore the difference between magnetic and non-magnetic materials through a simple investigation. Students test various objects such as paper clips, coins, plastic items, and wooden objects using a magnet. They observe which objects are attracted to the magnet and which are not. After testing, students sort the objects into two groups: magnetic materials and non-magnetic materials.
