In this lesson, Grade 1 students learn about the parts of a plant and their functions. Students explore the main parts of a plant, including the roots, stem, leaves, flowers, and fruit. Through pictures, hands-on activities, and simple explanations, students understand how each part helps the plant grow and stay healthy. They learn that roots absorb water, the stem supports the plant, leaves make food, and flowers and fruits help plants reproduce. This lesson encourages curiosity, observation, and care for nature while developing students’ basic science knowledge and English vocabulary in a fun and meaningful way.
In this practice session, students learn Ta’aruf, which means self-introduction in Arabic. Students practice introducing themselves using simple Arabic expressions, such as greeting others, saying their names, and asking basic questions. Through guided conversations, role-play, and repetition, students build confidence in speaking Arabic and improve their pronunciation. This activity helps students communicate politely and respectfully while becoming familiar with everyday Arabic phrases. The Ta’aruf practice supports students’ language development and strengthens their understanding of Arabic as part of Islamic learning in a fun and interactive way.
