Growing Plants in Middle School Science

This site is the result of a collaboration with the Vierling Lab at the University of Massachusetts and science teachers at the Amherst Regional Middle School. Our goal was to use plants to help students learn to be scientists while simultaneously acting as a living model as we study life science topics. This site includes fully developed lessons as well as ideas in development.
