To kick off the month of JRPM all you need to do is get outside and break a sweat - anything goes!
If you want to keep the activity going throughout the month, you can sign up for the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge
No matter the weather, let's go for a nice little stroll! Alone, with a friend, with your family, or with your four-legged furry companion. Get out and smell the fresh air!
Bike? Wheelchair? Skateboard? Scooter? Rollerblades? The list is endless! Today we encourage you to get outside with anything that gets you rolling!
Show us your moves! Dance wherever you are - inside or outside - play your favourite song and get dancing!
To celebrate National Indigenous History Month, check out this video from the Coeur d'Alene tribe to learn how to dance Jingle.
Did you know today is National Health and Fitness Day? To celebrate, we challenge you to achieve 10,000 steps today! Track it on your fitness watch or on your phone! Ps - this can totally be done inside your home if you're unable to get outside.
How do you plan on making a splash?! Go swimming, build a slip n’ slide, play in the sprinkler, visit a local lake or pond, have a water balloon/water-gun fight, visit a nearby spray-park, or if its raining - get to puddle jumping!
To wind down from a week of physical activity, it is important to stretch our bodies! Today we encourage to take some time to stretch or do yoga - at home or out in a green space!
Since we are still following the local health guidelines and restrictions, check out this list for some fun fitness activities to do from home!
