What's next?

Now that you've explored the UMC and Arnolia. It's time to discern what's next for you? If you'd like to formally become a member and be able to vote at our annual meetings and help inspire the future of our congregation, fill out this form or reach out to Rev. Yost (rev.yost@arnolia.org or 240.561.9216) and we'll find a good time for you to join the church. Otherwise, we'd love for you to Gather, Grow, Give, and Go with us.

Gather as followers of Jesus Christ

• Join us for worship

  • Come early or stay late to hang out and chat over a cup of coffee

• Join us (and bring something if you'd like) for our next coffee hour.

Grow as disciples

• Join our Weekly Pastor's Study on Tuesdays at Noon or Weekly Bible Study on Tuesdays at 6:30/6:45 PM - 7:45 PM.

  • Need a different time or interested in a different topic? Let us know.

• Join our leadership team's monthly study and conversation.

• Join our group chat to share ways that we are advocating for Justice. (connect with Rev. Yost to get access to it).

Give of Ourselves

• Volunteer with one of the ministries of the Church (For Worship, at the Thrift Store, the flea market, or other ministries)

  • Don't know where to begin? Complete the Spiritual Gifts Inventory and then email Rev. Yost to share your gifts and interests, and they'll help you discern a place to serve. 

• Collect resources for one or serve with one of our mission connections:

  • Helping Up Missions

Go into the world in service

• Be Christ's hands and feet in your world. Be God's liberating love for the people whom you encounter. And then share your witness with us so that we can  share the Good News with all.
