Launched in 2019 with the vision of turning the port city of Sannomiya, Kobe into the sacred ground of Japanese rock’n’roll, KOBE ROCK’N ROLL CIRCUS has grown into a major live house circuit event—thanks to the incredible support of our audience and all the bands who have taken the stage.

In 2025, our seventh edition marked a milestone with our very first 2-day event, where waves of rock’n’roll fans filled the streets of Sannomiya across the weekend—a powerful sight we’ll never forget.

And now, in 2026, we’re proud to do it again. Another 2-day celebration is coming.
This time, we aim even higher:
Let’s make Kobe a city of rock’n’roll imports and exports.
The circus rolls on!

Rock 'n' Roll Circus is a circuit event where a single ticket/wristband allows you to freely come and go between venues in the Sannomiya area of Kobe, which can be called the Liverpool of Japan.

Many rock'n'roll bands active in Japan and abroad perform at this event.

Why don't you discover new rock'n'roll bands at the venues? Please come to Kobe and experience the hot rock'n'roll live music!

*Liverpool is the port city where the Beatles were born. Not only are the landscapes of Liverpool and Kobe similar, but I feel that the distance from London to Liverpool is similar to the distance from Tokyo to Kobe. (according to the organizer)
