This design had two eggs in it - one that broke and one that did not. Hoyo proposed that perhaps it was because of this:
Viggo and his older brother designed a parachute for their egg drop. It survived a 2 story fall to the ground with only a slight crack.
After a few redesigns including yarn and parachutes this was a successful egg drop
Alex's egg drop demonstrates a fabulous example of a parachute. He used only materials from his recycle bin.
Emma made a very clever design. She tried it three times and the egg never cracked.
Her advice? "It was a good idea to have a strong base. And to make a tight room for the egg.
