As we head into the summer months, the Arkansas Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (ARID) wants to encourage all our members to dive into the wealth of professional development opportunities available across the country.
Because the summer season is so densely packed with national conferences, specialized workshops, and intensive training sessions, ARID does not host its own standalone workshop during the summer months. We want to ensure our members have the flexibility and time to travel, network, and take advantage of these diverse learning environments without the conflict of a local event.
We are especially proud to announce that several ARID members, who also serve as faculty and staff within the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) Interpreter Training Program, will be presenting at the Hands Up Conference this year!
This is a fantastic opportunity to support our local leaders as they share their expertise on a broader stage. Whether you are looking for CEUs or fresh perspectives on the craft, we highly recommend checking out the Hands Up Conference and other regional events.
Go forth, learn, and we look forward to seeing how you apply these new skills in our community this fall!
