The Arkansas Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (ARID) is a non-profit organization dedicated to championing the professional journey of every ASL interpreter across the state of Arkansas. We are committed to fostering a vibrant community where interpreters can thrive through intentional growth opportunities, meaningful networking, and the pursuit of standardization in our field.
By serving the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing community with excellence, we aim to elevate the profession and ensure that every practitioner has the resources and support needed to reach their full potential.
Together, we are building a stronger, more connected future for communication access in the Natural State.

ARID Committees provide one of the many ways for members to serve the professional organization. If you have an interest in serving, contact the board to learn more! With more involvement, the workload is less for everyone. You can serve ARID on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or even annual basis! There truly is something for everyone.
