Our courthouse kiosks will soon feature a new chatbot to assist users in finding the forms and information they need. We have recently acquired the software and are currently in the testing phase.

This chatbot will enhance the user experience by providing clear guidance and support. We anticipate launching this feature within the next few months and will provide updates as we progress.

We have launced a new "Our Videos and Printable Content" page, where court staff and librarians can find valuable resources to assist with courthouse kiosks. The newly available materials include:

• Kiosk Tutorial Video for Host Staff: A comprehensive guide to operating the kiosks, recorded during our recent live tutorial.

• Kiosk Signs: Printable signage to help guide the public to a kiosk.

• Kiosk Disclaimer: A printable notice reminding users to log out for privacy and security.

In addition, we are currently developing a printable disclaimer for clerks. This disclaimer will inform the public about the types of information clerks can provide. Once finalized, it will be added to the page for easy access.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing user-friendly legal resources, we have recently completed updates to the In Forma Pauperis (fee waiver) form, making it easier to understand and complete. This update was finalized in August 2024.

We are also in the process of finishing the following forms:

• Unlawful Detainer Answer and Objection for Tenants: A form designed to help tenants respond effectively to eviction proceedings.

• Divorce with Children Interactive Form: An intuitive, step-by-step form to assist users in navigating the legal process of divorce involving children.

Once these forms are completed, we will provide updates on the next set of forms we will work on.

We are also working to update the name change instructions for vital records, ensuring the information provided is current and comprehensive.
