Lesson 3.3 - Chapter 1

Learning Goals:

By the end of this lesson I will be able to:

• Read and interpret a map [R1.1, 1.4, 2.2]

• Retell the events of chapter 1 [R1.2, 2.1]

• Understand new vocabulary by using different resources to help [R3.1, 3.3]

Success Criteria:

• Successfully answer the question "List in order the different environments that are on the route from Loun Ariik to Kakuma" using the map found at the beginning of the book.

• Successfully orally retell the order of events of Chapter 1.

• Successfully learn the words: responsibilities, panic, rebels, independence.
