During my time at ASARCO, we completed a 360-degree video and photo shoot on the grinding floor and in the lab. This experience provided valuable insight into the mining operations and allowed us to visually capture the technical processes in action.

This 360-degree video captures key areas of the ASARCO facility, including the Grinding Floor, where ore is crushed and ground using massive mills; the Lab, where mineral samples are tested and analyzed; and the Metallurgical Area (Metal), where processes like flotation and recovery take place. The immersive footage provides a detailed look at the operations, equipment, and safety procedures in each section.

Participated in a virtual tour of ASARCO, a major mining company located in Sahuarita, near Tucson, Arizona. The visit, organized with Dr. Carter, provided valuable insights into the operations, environmental practices, and technological advancements within the mining industry.

In the lab, technicians test and analyze ore samples using specialized equipment, lab benches, and safety tools essential for mineral processing.
