FRIDAYS: 7th period
Cooking requires these skills: Kitchen safety, following a recipe, measuring correctly, clean-up, and operating appliances. These are skills that young adults need to be able to take care of themselves. We also include shopping and budgeting for needed ingredients. Cooking simple and easy recipes is fun and beneficial for students as they get older, and we cook weekly. Everyone participates!
