*** Scroll to the bottom of this page to understand how fundraising can help you pay your mandatory choir fee! ***
The only required fee to participate in West Side Choir is the annual choir fee. All other fees are associated with optional enrichment opportunities and activities. While we strongly encourage students to participate in these events, they are not required.
To help offset costs, our annual Cookie Dough Fundraiser will take place September 25–October 2. For every box of cookie dough sold, $10 will be credited toward the choir expense of your choice.
For example:
Sell 10 boxes to cover the $100 annual choir fee.
Sell 7 boxes to cover the $70 Six Flags field trip (Six Flags Trip is only for 7th/8th Grade Singers. 6th Graders get to spend the day at Pinstack for their Pride of Texas Choral Music Competition day)!
This fundraiser gives families the flexibility to reduce or even eliminate many choir-related expenses through participation.
There are two exceptions to how fundraiser credits may be applied:
Group Dynamix: This social event takes place before the cookie dough fundraiser begins, so fundraiser proceeds cannot be used to cover this expense. To attend this event you must remit payment my Friday, September 11th.
Private Voice Lessons: Voice lesson tuition is paid directly to each instructor. Because these payments do not go through the choir program, fundraiser credits cannot be applied toward private lesson fees.
Our goal is to keep Argyle Choir as affordable and accessible as possible while providing students with meaningful musical and social experiences throughout the year. We appreciate your support of our fundraising efforts and look forward to another outstanding year together!
