I'm thrilled to be your child's 6th-grade Life Science teacher. This is my 6th year at Arete. With a strong foundation from my degree in Biology and Biochemistry, coupled with a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies, I bring a unique blend of scientific knowledge and real-world experience to the classroom. After 15 years as a certified Physician Assistant, I transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom before discovering my passion for teaching as a substitute teacher, right here at Arete Prep, before I was offered to teach full-time. I'm excited to share my love for science and guide your students through an engaging and insightful exploration of the living world! I feel confident in the classroom due to classroom management and Socrates teaching method training.

My son Logan, attends Arete Prep as well. He is in 9th grade. I am thankful and blessed that I get to spend my days with your children and mine!
