TRAVELEVATE: A Google Workspace Webinar and Tutorial
About the event
The "TRAVELEVATE: A Google Workspace Webinar and Tutorial" is designed to address the critical role of communication within the tourism industry. This event aims to equip students with the necessary skills to excel in various roles by emphasizing the importance of clear, timely, and professional interactions. The webinar covers essential communication strategies, including the composition of professional emails, effective scheduling and time management, and real-time collaboration. By focusing on these areas, students will be better prepared to handle the dynamic communication demands of the tourism sector.
Integrating Google Workspace tools into the webinar provides students with hands- on experience using industry-standard technology. Participants will learn to navigate Gmail for managing professional correspondence, utilize Google Calendar for efficient scheduling and time management, and leverage Google Chat for real-time communication and collaboration. This practical approach ensures that students not only understand the theoretical aspects of effective communication but also gain valuable skills that are directly applicable in professional settings.
