SPOOKTACULAR 4.0: Light through the Dark
About the event
SPOOKTACULAR 4.0: Light through the Dark is a one-day seminar designed for students pursuing Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management in Arellano University - Andres Bonifacio Campus. This event aims to give spotlight on the often overlooked but culturally and historically rich abandoned places in the Philippines that hold significant potential as tourist attractions in the future or even now.
This webinar offers essential knowledge to BS Tourism Management students through a comprehensive exploration of dark tourism sites in the Philippines and its contribution in the industry. By focusing on abandoned places, the event underscores the importance of preserving historical heritage while also highlighting the economic benefits it can bring to society. This not only equips students with knowledge but also inspires them to contribute to the sustainable development of different heritages. By highlighting the importance of these sites, the seminar seeks to educate future tourism professionals on the value of dark tourism, its preservation, and its economic impacts.
