February 1st at Citizens Bank Park from 9am-noon. Come support Special Olympics Pennsylvania for a fun and chill morning. Consider joining one of the PA School teams and take the plunge for yourself or help them raise money by donating. Not taking the plunge? That's ok! Come support all the wonderful athletes and enjoy Plunge town, with free Wawa coffee and hot chocolate, games, music, food trucks, and fun.
Since 2015 Special Olympics Pennsylvania has raised millions of dollars to help support its athletes across the state. Each year, the Philadelphia Polar Plunge tops its previous year's fundraising record. The Philadelphia Polar Plunge is just 1 of 9 plunges done around the state to raise funds for over 15,000 athletes.
Event starts at 9 am with registration, Plungegating, and Plunge town activities. Opening ceramony is at 11:30 and at 12 it's time to plunge. This event is help just outside Citizens Bank Park Lot S, with free parking available.

This year over 2,200 people braved the cold and took the plunge for the Philadelphia Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics PA. In total over $510,000 was raised. As part of PA Olympics the 10 schools involved joined in on the fun and took the plunge as well.
