Fundraising is accomplished in only three short months each year (January – April). Each PA Program raises money by running individual program charity events, and the GoFundMe platform. A combined fundraiser event is held at Lucky Strike. Lucky Strike supported the event with a donation of $250 in addition to hosting raffle of gift baskets from each program. The final charity check presentation ceremony and celebration culminated at the PA Olympics main event in April. This year, the theme is “The Great Race,” where each program will have teams consisting of 10 students per team with 2 Special Olympic Athletes.
The PA Program that raised the most funds per student is awarded a trophy for their outstanding fundraising efforts.
