GROUP INSTRUCTION

Group instruction can take many forms! It might be something like a single event, such as one band rehearsal, a weekend workshop, a topical class series, or even longer training immersions like summer camps. It can also be an ongoing partnership, such as live sessions for groups in the Chicago area or virtual sessions anywhere in the world with internet access.

Group session topics can go well beyond just drumming instruction. There is so much range within the pipe band experience that opens opportunities for a broader approach to learning, playing, performing, competing, and more.

The key to a great experience for any group – whether as a band or any assembly of people wanting to become better – is to take into consideration how to work together and how to involve outside assistance for the greatest benefit of the group itself and the people involved.

Ongoing advisement partnerships can be arranged to meet as frequently as a group may benefit from it. This could be biweekly or quarterly sessions, or simply scheduled as needed at various times throughout the year.
