SCORING & ARRANGEMENT
Original music and arrangements by AR2 have been key ingredients in the successes of soloists and bands throughout North America for almost 30 years. From diverse influences and interests in and out of the pipe band genre, each score is custom-built to highlight the melody of a tune and the capabilities of the performers. Bespoke musical commissions are one of our most successful services with decades of lauded performances and competitive prizes as proof.
The scoring process starts with a conversation about the tunes to be accompanied, the drummers' capabilities who will play the scores, and any stylistic preferences of the band. The scores will be written so they fit the tunes well, but are also comfortable in the hands of the players so they can enjoy playing them week in and week out!
