Who needs to take the Accuplacer? Students that intend to enroll in a 2-year college should take the Accuplacer test and the ALEKS math test. These are placement tests that are provided on the DMACC Carroll Campus. The link below take you to the Accuplacer link and the ALEKS math test and explains them in further detail.
ALEKS TEST - The ALEKS is a math placement that is required for students enrolling in a 2-year college and is also utilized by many 4-year colleges and universities. The Placement Assessment is up to 30 questions and generally takes 60-90 minutes to complete. After the Placement Assessment, an individualized Prep and Learning Module is available for students to refresh their knowledge on forgotten topics. Students then have the opportunity to reassess and improve their placement.
