For choral ensemble auditions, follow these instructions:
Who needs to audition for choral placement?
- Anyone who wishes to sing in a choir and didn’t audition for the Director of Choral Activities in the spring.
- Any music major who plans to fulfill their ensemble requirement by singing in a choir and didn’t audition for the Director of Choral Activities in the spring.
Each singer must prepare a one minute solo to be sung a cappella (without accompaniment or backing track). The audition will also consist of a range check, sight reading tests, and ear tests.
Email choralmusic@apu.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
Vocal Jazz (East End) is a small group of singers, 10-14 members, performing a diverse selection of very fun and challenging music.
Even if you have been a past member of East End you will have to re-audition for a place in the ensemble for Fall 2025.
*Fall 2025 Auditions for East End will be done on an invitation basis only. *
