What will happen at the Educator Hiring Fair?

Representatives from schools, districts, and non-profits/for profits will be set up at booths, ready to provide employment information and speak with candidates about their anticipated openings. Representatives will also learn more about candidates' interests and qualifications. Candidates will be able to speak with employers briefly on a first come first served basis. After these initial conversations, employers can choose to interview candidates in a designated area or give candidates additional information to apply to their positions. We encourage you to network with a variety of representatives throughout the morning and make the most of this unique employment opportunity!

Professionalism and Preparation

On the day of the Hiring Fair, candidates must dress in business professional attire as would be appropriate for an interview. Remember that no matter how long your interaction is with a HR professional, you are creating a first impression that will carry on throughout your career. Do your research on districts and schools, bring several copies of your final resume, and come ready to talk about your strengths and your passion for education!
