*Mount Hermon Family Camps
Great opportunity for those who have a heart for Special Needs kids and teenagers. Mount Hermon is hiring Special Needs Councilors /One-on-One Student Aides to work as the assistant/primary caretaker for children and students 0-18 years old with cognitive, emotional, or physical special needs that might inhibit or prohibit them from participating in camp activities as well as enabling them to participate and experience camp as best suited for them. This staff will work together as a team and work with an expert in the field of Special Needs to be trained and coached throughout the summer. The job begins June 1st and goes until August 11th. Staff is paid weekly, given free housing, and meals throughout the summer.

Save the date! The next SDCOE Careers in Education Job Fair is scheduled for April 20, 2024. Educational agencies from across San Diego County will be looking to recruit new employees and substitute teachers to fill teaching and non-teaching positions.

Harvard Westlake's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is excited to announce that candidate registration is now open for our 6th Annual Diversity Recruiting Fair!
This is a great opportunity for you to network with other independent schools in the Southern California region. Find out about their school culture and possible job opportunities for the upcoming school year.
The fair will include panels from various independent school administrators and time to network with over 50 schools! We’ll also have breakfast, lunch, and coffee to keep you fueled throughout the in-person event.
The fair will be held across two days. The in-person portion will take place Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Followed by the virtual fair on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

*Walnut Valley Unified School District Job Fair

Walnut Valley Unified School District will host a job fair on Saturday, March 2nd from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Walnut Valley USD District Office.
This is a walk-in event and no appointment is needed.
Come and meet with hiring managers and connect with staff!
Bring an updated resume and proof of high school graduation in either hard copy or digital version on a thumb/flash drive.
Additionally, the first 50 qualified applicants will receive a voucher to waive the $64 fingerprint fee.
The award-winning school district has a variety of employment opportunities including: Bus Driver, Child Care Attendant II, Custodian I Substitute, Instructional Aide II and III – Special Education, Instructional Aide II – Bilingual/Bicultural Mandarin, Instructional Aide II Accompanist, Job Coach, Noon Aide, Nutrition Services Worker I, II, and III, Playground Supervisor – Morning Supervision, Preschool Teacher Substitute, and Substitute Teacher.

The Santa Clara County Office of Education will be hosting our next Step into an Education Career event on Saturday, February 10, 2024. This event will help individuals learn about and prepare for a career in education.
This event is an opportunity for attendees to learn how to navigate the credentialing process, meet with representatives from local universities and teaching programs and learn about compensation, benefits, financial aid, and retirement. During the event, attendees will also be able to interact with classroom educators and experts about the rewards and challenges of a career in education.

The Santa Clara County Teacher Recruitment Fair is designed for fully credentialed candidates, therefore, you must have one of the following to attend. Representatives from school districts come to this central location for a day of focused interaction with teacher candidates. Harvard Westlake's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will be hosting their Fourth Annual Southern California Diversity Recruiting Fair 2022 to recruit faculty, staff, and administrators from underrepresented groups. More than 40 independent schools in Los Angeles and 2 placement organizations are participating. This fair has been incredibly successful and is responsible for pairing numerous job candidates with their current employers.
