Compiling Biochemical Assays onto Digital Microfluidic Biochips

Designed and programmed various synthesis flows to map biochemical assays, described in a high-level format, down to low-level electrode activations
Created several software digital microfluidic simulators which encompassed synthesis and execution of biochemical assays
Designed and fabricated a hardware simulation device (LEDs representing electrodes) to test microfluidic synthesis software
Designed and created embedded system to connect and control real digital microfluidic device via software GUI interface
