History

In 1999, Chris.Huang held international invitation championships in Kaohsiung. Open a gate to play Tchoukball with worldwide teams. By the time only Japan and Taiwan plays Tchoukball in Asia。In 2004 he left Tchoukball field,and a after a year,In 2005 he is hopeless about not knowing how to help Taiwan Tchoukball, He start to find a way from study Tchouball history,Only to promote Tchoukball worldwide is the key to the Tchoukball future. At that time, Teacher Fang Rui Min was APTBF General Secretary and Chris was co-General Secretary. Chris took the position when Fang passed away. Chris made decision to start to promote Tchoukball worldwide although he did not know English very well.

From 2005, Chris.Huang started to promote Tchoukball in Asia Countries, He went Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan..etc. All the airfare was by his own expenses, He also brought ball and frame to had coach seminar. In the beginning, the seminar was set to be fun and to be interesting, furthermore, than to teach Tchoukball educational attitude and to build up relationship between Federation and those semi-coaches.

In 2006 Asia Championship, Former FITB President Daniel suggested to rename Asia Tchoukball Federation as Asia Pacific Tchoukball Federation(APTBF). In order to be able to promote Tchoukball in Australia and New Zealand. The Federation Members also suggested that Federation should begin to charge event fee $60 USD per day after in every International Championships.

In 2009, Kaohsiung held the World Game, Chris.Huang started to invited every national federations to had APTBF General Assembly in Tsai Wen school. There were 10 national representatives recognized the successful Tchoukball Championship played in World Game. The first APTBF president CHOU, Hung Shih(George) was elected and authorized by Former FITB president. Since that the APTBF offically set up and start running.

In 2010, Asia Tchoukball Championship had more than 10 countries joined in the game. APTBF started to established East Asia, South East Asia and South Asia Federation ahead among in continental Federation.

In 2013, President CHOU was elected to continue APTBF presidency. In 2015, Asia Pacific had 26 countries playing Tchoukball, In such short 10 years, APTBF had every well result in promoting Tchoukball, it was appreciated by the help and assistant from every countries.

In 2017, President CHOU was elected to continue APTBF presidency in East Asia Championship in South Korea.
