Novice Teacher Mentoring

Our novice teacher program supports and assists the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education's (DESE) vision, mission, and goals regarding the successful growth of novice teachers so that they continue their growth toward becoming effective educational leaders who enjoy and remain in the profession.

As DESE is transforming Arkansas to lead the nation in student-focused education, APSRC seeks to further that vision by deepening the knowledge and skills of teachers and administrators in Arkansas so that they lead students to a deeper understanding and application of the knowledge and skills required to reach his/her individual potential.
