In this unit, we will learn how to think like historians. This means we don't just ask questions like "What happened?" but also questions such as "Why did this happen?", "How can I verify that this happened?" and "In what context did this happen?" A good historian doesn't take anything at face value unless they can find evidence to corroborate their theory. We go where the evidence leads us, we don't just find evidence to support what we already think. We will also learn why learning about geography is so crucial. After all, the #1 rule of social studies is GEOGRAPHY ALWAYS AFFECTS HISTORY!
