The second workshop will take place from January 28 to February 1, 2019 in Tunis, Tunisia. Fellows are expected to arrive in Tunis on January 27 and depart on February 2. Most daily sessions will take place at the Novotel Hotel, from 9 am to 5 pm, with couple of sessions organized at the University of Tunis and visits to official institutions.
It is each participant's responsibility to inquire about visa and entry requirements for travel to Tunisia. In general, be sure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond after your date of departure from Tunisia. Please note that APSA will not offer reimbursement for visa fees.
All participants will be staying at Novotel Hotel. Participants will have a single nonsmoking room with private bath, daily breakfast and WiFi.
Winter in Tunis is known to be mild with intermittent sunshine and temperatures averaging 12 degrees C. However, rainfall should be expected throughout January and February.

Business Casual is the expected outfit. Please bring a business attire to wear for the official meetings at the Tunisian Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Tunisia's currency is the Tunisian Dinar (symbolized TND). The current exchange rate is 1 US$ = 2.9 TND. Participants' stipends will be dispensed in Tunisian Dinars at the beginning of the workshop.
