Bathroom Procedures

Classrooms that are equipped with bathrooms will be using those for students. If the classroom isn't equipped with a bathroom, they will use the hallway bathrooms. Hallway bathrooms have been assigned to the one that is closest to their classroom.

Hallway bathrooms have a capacity set to one person. This will be monitored using an app called e-hall pass.

To use e-hall pass, students will use their iPad to request a bathroom pass. If no one is in the bathroom, the program will issue them a virtual pass and show green on their screen (meaning they can go to the bathroom). When they get back to the classroom they will check back in. However, if someone is in the bathroom, it'll show red and the program will not issue the pass until the person in the bathroom has checked back into their classroom.

All water fountains will be closed.

Teachers will review and practice this with students.
