Class Mystery Readers/Room Parents
I love to invite family members/loved ones to come and read a book to our class on Friday afternoons. I will send out a sign up link to class families at the beginning of the year or you can sign up here: 2026-27 Class Mystery Reader. When signing up don't tell your child, the surprise makes it so fun! Families are welcome to sign up as many times as they would like, if Fridays do not work for you, please reach out to me via ClassDojo to make alternative arrangements. If you are interested in helping organize, run copies, or work with small groups of students throughout the day, please contact me & we can establish a schedule together based on our class need & your availablity.
PTO
We have an active and very supportive PTO here at JBES. I encourage everyone to sign up! They always need volunteers especially for our big fundraisers: jog-a-thon and Spring Fest. In addition to these two events, Mrs. Sievert will send volunteer opportunities throughout the year through her weekly email.
Library & Book Fair
If you love sorting, organizing, and helping kids read helping Mrs. Nichols in the library might be for you! If interested please reach out to me and I will put you in contact with her to establish a schedule.
Subbing
If you would love to be part of the JBES community on a more regular basis but want to reach more than just one group of students, subbing might be perfect! We are always in need of regular subs at school, especially ones who care deeply about the students & community. If intersted, please talk or email Principal Sievert and/or secretary Jen Barker for further information.
